LGBTQIA+ Affirming
I strive to be an ALLY and ADVOCATE for individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ and provide affirming therapy. After minoring in gender studies at UCLA, I continued to be especially passionate about understanding how LGBTQIA+ individuals experience minority stress as a result of the social norms that permeate throughout society. I completed my postdoctoral training at an LGBTQIA+ specialized group therapy practice.
I have worked closely with LGBTQIA+ clients in all of the sites and settings that I have been at. I have also assisted clients who have family and friends who identify as LGBTQIA+, and helped them to navigate how to compassionately understand the unique experiences that their LGBTQIA+ loved ones encounter.
